BEAUTIFUL START

What a beautiful day to start our 2013 season.  Nice cool weather that made for a great day to pick berries.
We awoke to downpours this a.m., but hope to salvage the rest of the day.  We are open and you can pick in the rain if you wish.  The weather people say that the afternoon should be good and that tomorrow is the pick of the weekend with temps in the low 80s.
There are still plenty of berries out there and we hope to see you soon.  Remember to bring your own containers as we have no pails this year.  Our price is $1.70 per lb.

IT'S FINALLY TIME!

We will be opening this Thursday, July 25th, for the season.  The fields are looking good and the berries are big and juicy.  Please remember to bring your own containers to pick in as we will not have pails to sell this year.  We open at 6 a.m.  $1.70 per lb.  All pails will need to be weighed before entering the fields.  Can't wait to see all our past customers and to welcome all newcomers.  Pack a lunch, sit at one of our picnic tables and enjoy the day.  Coffee and water available.  Happy picking!

WE WILL NO LONGER HAVE PAILS FOR SALE

After more than 30 years of purchasing pails from the same company we can no longer get our white pails from them.  I know this can be a hardship for some people if you do not bring enough containers with you and we apologize in advance, but it really is not our fault.

I have done a thorough search on the web and the cheapest pails would cost us $2.80 and I know you can get them cheaper elsewhere.

So be sure that you pack the car full of containers before leaving home.

Still no date for opening, but surely the heat that is headed in this weekend should push them ahead.  Till then stay happy and stay safe!
